  1. Dear Shane, Many thanks for new posts. Have not seen you for some time at Central Catholic Library but I have been praying for your Mam and hope she is doing alright. Our own small library at St. Canice’s in Finglas village is gone – the present priests wanted the whole area given over to repository only, so I have some more pamphlets for you – some of them I know you have already but there are some you may not have and are welcome to. Thought you might be interested to know that a Literary Society has been started at St. Kevin’s, Harrington St. They hope to have a talk once a quarter provided they can get speakers. The last talk was given by Msgr. O’Brien, author of “Canon Sheehan of Doneraile” on the launching of his book by the same title – you would, I believe, have found it particularly interesting – he has done a enormous amount of research although the materialwas very scattered. Hesays there is still a mountain of material awaiting further research for anyone who would like to take it on. Wishing you and all your family a holy and blessed Christmas and every health and blessing in the New Year. Beannacht De ort. Julie Connolly.

    • Hi Julie,

Great to hear from you. Thank you very much for the prayers for my mother, much appreciated. I would be delighted to have those pamphlets to scan, that’s very kind of you. I’ll be in Dublin in the new year. Hope you’re keeping well and likewise I wish you a very holy and blessed Christmas, and a happy new year.
